Well it's not long now till you will be able to take a stroll into Mulberry Wood, 12noon Friday it launches as PICK OF THE WEEK with SARA on Create and Craft.
There are so many crafty items on the CD and the images are so lovely. There are also some beautiful stamps to complement the CD and to complete the range Hunkydory have made two card kits which I think are gorgeous.
Today I am sharing with you a card I designed for a Tutorial on the Crafters Companion web site using one of the kits.
I have made an acetate bow fronted topper as the main feature and don't you just love those pandas.

Day 2 of Mulberry Wood
Today my card uses some of the items from the Hunkydory card kit which will accompany the Pick of the Week CD.
There are some gorgeous toppers in this kit, the images are so cute but will be useful for so many people.
My husband used to work for Royal Mail so this image really appealed to me.
I have made a DL card, with one of the card blanks. It was a paler colour but I used Tim Holtz Red Barn distress ink to intensify the colour.
The topper I mounted onto Centura Pearl, then used Red Barn to colour the edge.

Yesterday was quite a day.
The kits to accompany Nigel May's launch were late arriving so basically we had a day to make samples to send to Nigel today.
What a good job that they are so easy to use and really good quality, just what we expect from Hunkydory.
So today I am Posting a Photo Gallery of the cards I made during my Crafting marathon.
So tomorrow evening on Ideal World Nigel will be launching his Pick of the Day at 9.0pm.
I have a feeling this will be very popular. xxx

Crafting into Christmas Stamps
There are some lovely stamp plates in Nigel's new range some contemporary some traditional.
My Sneek Peek is of a Snowman with his Xmas Tree.
My Sneek Peek is of a Snowman with his Xmas Tree.
I have combined Sakura Gelly roll pens with Spectrum Noirs.
As the ornaments on the tree are quite detailed I used the Sakura pens first and this acted as a resist when I coloured the tree with Spectrum Noir's
Same stamp but two different looks.
Tomorrow I think it will be decoupage, or maybe a card companion. Pop by to find out.

Instead is a White Christmas I'm dreaming of SUMMER !!!

Day 2 of Crafting into Christmas
Today my card features one of the 3d Toppers.
This card uses 2 of the lovely backing papers on the CD. In the design set section I used the A5 insert
as the front of my card and cut an apeture to suspend the topper from. Cut with my Cricut using the centre point feature. I have put an extra internal piece of card covered with the red backing paper to create a section for the insert, it also gives stability for the apeture.
As a finishing touch I have added an organza bow.

Nigel May's Crafting into Christmas
Well Nigel has done it again, next Tuesday he launches his second craft CD this time it's Crafting Into Christmas.
There are 2 CDs one Contemporary and cute while the other is Traditional with a modern twist.
My first sneek peek is from the 2nd CD and uses a new section called funnily enough Postcards.
They print onto 1 page and could just be folded in half and stuck together but I thought a collage with a postcard to Santa might be a bit different.

June Crafters Companion Challenge
This month the challenge is themed around Embellishments.
I have used a Strawberry Kisses image. This little kitten looks so comfortable sleeping in this beautiful shoe. My embellishments are made from several layers of flowers. The centres are made from some solid flowers that I have had for years but were just the right colour and I am really pleased with the finished result.
The picture frame was cut from Coordinations card using the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge.
We look forward to seeing your creations and Good Luck.
